EXCUSES, EXCUSES: WHAT TO DO (AND NOT DO) WITH YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER

I usually don't offer advice like this, but the romance writer in me couldn't resist. It resonated with me on several levels, and, unlike a lot of advice, is very simple and specific. Anyone can do this (but will you?)

This short video lists eleven very specific things we should do or not do with a significant other. The video refers to advice for men about relationships with women, but I think it works equally well for everyone.

And none of this "Well, THEY do it, too” stuff. Love is not a competition about scoring points, nor “what’s in it for me?” It’s the same as the New Testament advises: “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last,” and “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I am the very first person who should read this list and take note of what's said.
