MONDAY: MUSIC MAGIC

The link below is for one of my favorite songs, "Yesterday When I was Young," sung by Roy Clark. Never mind he's one of the greatest guitar players ever, on this song he shows how beautifully he sings. The original version of the song was by French singer, Charles Aznavour, who wrote it in 1964.

It's a sad song, about a man who has loved and lost, loved often but not well. In the end all he feels is regret. 

It's not a song for enjoying, other than in a detached way, savoring the rich instrumentals and Roy's great voice. Maybe it will speak to you, as it did to me.
