ANOTHER WEDNESDAY: WHAT TO DO
I think that’s what many people in this country—in the world, for that matter—are asking every day. I wish I had the perfect answer. I suspect there isn’t one, not that’s universal for everyone.
Many are energized to take action. There may be many motivations for this, some good some not so much. Many more are no doubt more inclined to do nothing. This again can be for a variety of reasons.
What’s my answer, for me at least? That is as uncertain as the universal fix for the world. I know one thing that I will continue, because I’m driven to it as much as being something that I can feel good about. It’s writing my books. The other serious concerns are still there, still weigh on me heavily. But I have no answers what to do about them.
So—this is what fill my days, as it has for some time. I truly believe I’m not wasting my time with my writing, whatever the outcome with this or with all the other issues for which I haven’t figured out answers yet. So—here’s my mantra for the present.
